So I am sure you have all noticed the craze of starburst mirrors on Pinterest.. they are amazing.. and what would a mid century house be without a starburst mirror.
I decided to make one myself and it only cost $7.00!!

Supplies:
Paper plate
Pack of wooden shish kabob sticks $2.50 for 100 sticks (Albertsons)
6" round mirror $1.50 (JoAnns fabric)
6" wooden knitting ring - inside ring only $.99 (JoAnns Fabric)
2 hot glue sticks
tape
1 can of spray paint $3.00
STEP 1.
Take your paper plate and cut around the inner red line..

STEP 2
Lay out all your sticks around the small plate, and tape them where you want them to be.
(I like to tape before I glue, so i can make adjustments)

STEP 3
Hot glue your sticks down around the edges of the plate

STEP 4
Spray paint star and the inside of the knitting ring
STEP 5
Glue your mirror to the enter of your star

STEP 6
Put hot glue around the very edge of the front of the mirror and place your knitting ring on the mirror. Waaa Laaa!
