So I had 2 of these old lamps from my grandfathers home. They were really showing a lot of wear, but I really liked the shape of them. I found that instead of buying new lamps, I can early change these up with some paint and a new awesome lamp shade. I found these pretty simple shades at Ikea for $20 each. When I got home i found that CLEARLY this shades are only made for Ikea lamps!!. It took some extra time, and some quick thinking... but i got it to work! Its really rewarding to take something from old and frumpy, to new a chic.
